Linux logs are crucial : they store important information about some errors that may happen on your system. They might also store information about who’s trying to access your system, what a specific service is doing, or about a system crash that happened earlier. As a consequence, knowing how to locate, manipulate and parse log files is definitely a skill that you have to master.
