SparkyLinux 8.0 has been released today as one of the first distributions to be based on the recently released Debian 13 “Trixie” operating system series.

Dubbed “The Seven Sisters”, SparkyLinux 8.0 is based on and fully compatible with Debian 13 “Trixie”, it’s powered by the long-term supported Linux 6.12 LTS kernel series, and includes all packages updated from the stable Debian and SparkyLinux repositories as of August 13th, 2025. Full Story |
