Today, 4MLinux developer Zbigniew Konojacki announced the release and general availability of 4MLinux 50.0 as the latest stable version of this minimalist and independent Linux distro featuring the lightweight JWM window manager.

Coming almost four months after 4MLinux 49.0, the 4MLinux 50.0 release introduces support for reproducing itself from sources, improves support for webcam devices via Zbar and V4L2 Viewer, and adds a couple of new apps, including the EmelFM2 file manager, as well as uHexen2, a port of Raven Software’s Hexen II source.
