Shotwell 0.33 open-source image viewer and organizer for the GNOME desktop environment has been officially released today after many years of work as the first version ported to GTK4.

The biggest news for the Shotwell 0.33 release is that the application has finally been ported to GTK4 for a more modern UI experience. The GTK4 port should improve compatibility with Wayland, such as drag-and-drop exporting, and overall utilization of modern desktop portals. Full Story |
