Git 2.56 has been released today as the latest stable update to this free and open-source distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency.

Coming three after Git 2.55, the Git 2.56 release introduces a new --resolved option to the git add command to stage conflict-resolved paths while leaving unrelated local changes unstaged. It scans the unmerged paths for leftover conflict markers and aborts if any are found. Full Story |
