The Armbian team released Armbian Imager 2.5 today as a hefty update to this open-source utility for flashing the Armbian Linux operating system on single-board computers, bringing various new features and enhancements.

Coming four months after Armbian Imager 2.0, the Armbian Imager 2.5 release introduces a guided setup flow for first-boot profiles that walks you through network, user, language, time zone, and sign-in options one step at a time, with your answers collected in a summary column beside the questions.

Armbian Imager 2.5 also revamps the Settings page as a dedicated page with five clearly labeled sections: General, Writing, First-boot profiles, Downloads and storage, and About and support. Also, updates now download in the background so a write in progress is never interrupted.
