Shelly 3.1.10 has been released today as a new maintenance update in the Shelly 3.1 series of this modern, open-source, and free pacman alternative for Arch Linux and derivatives, with AUR build and upgrade improvements.

Coming only a week after Shelly 3.1.9, the Shelly 3.1.10 continues to improve AUR builds by discovering and installing build dependencies before the prepare() function runs, including when an AUR package needs other AUR packages to build.

In addition, it adds support for prefix and suffix trimming on quoted indexed array elements, collapses whitespace in multiline pkgdesc values when writing PKGINFO files, and accepts larger HTTP response headers during downloads to fix failures involving GitHub security headers and redirects.
