GIMP 3.2.8 is now available for download as the fourth maintenance update to the latest GIMP 3.2 series of this open-source, free, and cross-platform image editing software for GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows.

Coming almost five months after GIMP 3.2.6, the GIMP 3.2.8 release adds DPI information when copying an image to the clipboard, restores Offset as a non-destructive filter, adds the ability to cancel font loading in the middle when quitting GIMP early, and improves Dot to Dot support to work better even on integer scaling.

GIMP 3.2.8 also updates the Text tool with better support of RTL (Right-to-Left) languages, adds support for storing the localized path of menu models to show the action’s paths properly localized in the Action Search, improves the initial positioning of dialogs, and fixes system theme leaks.
