Joanne Rohde named Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations to guide Red Hat's delivery of software as a service.

RALEIGH, NC - March 2, 2004â- Red Hat, Inc. (Nasdaq:RHAT), the world's premier open source and Linux provider, today announced that Joanne Rohde has been appointed as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations. Rohde, most recently Managing Director, Information Technology and Chief Procurement Officer at UBS Investment Bank, has had over twenty years of enterprise experience in sales, marketing and IT. Rohde will be responsible for Red Hat's enterprise solutions, services and IT organizations.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Rohde managed multi-billion dollar IT budgets, technology relationships and investment banking infrastructure for UBS Investment Bank. Rohde previously held similar positions with Warburg, Swiss Bank Corporation, and O'Connor & Associates . Building staff and solutions to handle the needs of organizations with several thousand clients has been a key achievement in her career. While at UBS, Rohde helped build the IT organization as it grew tenfold and delivered solutions to the global UBS client base.
