This is to announce the release of Trustix Secure Linux 2.1, nicknamed "Horizon". It is the second release in the Trustix 2 series.

This is to announce the release of Trustix Secure Linux 2.1, nicknamed "Horizon". It is the second release in the Trustix 2 series.

Its main purpose is to serve as a stability release, and it is the natural successor of Trustix 2.0. In addition, we have added a few more features including Samba 3, IBM's stack protector and the XFS filesystem. We have also updated most of the packages to the latest stable version.

So what does this release feature? * Swup 2.3 * Samba 3.0.2 * Perl 5.8.3 * PHP 4.3.4 * Mysql 4.0.18 * Postfix 2.0.18 * MIT Kerberos v5 * DKMS * Postgresql 7.4.1 * OpenSSH 3.8p1 * XFS filesystem support * IBM's stack protector

and a lot more.
