A New Way to Introduce Linux

While I would certainly not wish to speak for everyone, I do try to introduce Linux to just about anyone that will listen. And even though I would rather avoid using the “XGL whiz-bang gloss” to do so, I think, for a long time, the bootable Linux CD was a seriously effective way to get the word out.

As news of the new mp3/video player first rolled into my RSS aggregator, I was impressed. Not so much for its media abilities, but because, in addition to all of the things that iPod should have included, the Wizpy just happens to include a bootable copy of TurboLinux. Full Story |
