Here in the States, not only is it illegal to download TV shows, thanks to their perceived IP rights, but it will likely get you banned from your ISP should you get caught. However, this is not stopping a lot of people who, through a little ingenuity, a lot of determination, and downright refusal to bow to the will of the cable providers, have figured out how to beat the broadcasters in this game.
