I think the author means "wily." And what does "wily" have to do with software developers? "full of wiles : CRAFTY"

OK I'm being a smart alec. At least LXer contains way fewer silly spelling and grammatical errors than Slashdot. ;)

I've got to admit fault on that one. Kills me too, as that's the one word I wasn't sure on the spelling of.. so I popped up a session of OOwriter I had been working in to check it. Could've been the capitals that threw it off, or maybe I didn't give it enough time to kick through the spell check.. thanks for the catch though :).

And I was going for wily with the title. It felt better than talented or motivated.

(checked.. it's the first letter in the article so it treats it as a name)
