Will the next Mandrivoris distro be .deb-based?

It was going to be interesting to see what all of the Conectiva people do to the Mandrake distro, but now Lycoris have been borged in as well before the Mandrake-Conectiva combo got a distro out the door, so I guess we'll never know.

I suppose it will be interesting to see the outcome. Mandrake and Connectiva merger and acqusition of Lycoris means one thing: A new distro is being built.

Mandriva LE was a glimpse of future and mandrive announcemnts proved it right. So, Mandriva will be a new player in the market.

No... because Debian only contains 6 letters. :)

They'd be better off using: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server

Then you could just a convenient acroynm.. like:

MCLRHELAS

to refer to Mandrake Connectiva Lycoris Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server :)
