Corel still makes WordPerfect and Quattro. Furthermore they were on the OpenDocument Technical Committtee if I recall correctly. When will they start to support OpenDocument?

Firefox? There must be an OpenDocument viewer module or plug-in on the way. How soon?

How about Apple? TextEdit can read several variants of MS Word formats, when will it also support OpenDocument?

Even Microsoft has claimed that it would support OpenDocument, if there were customer demand: http://opendocumentfellowship.org/petition/

You are aware, aren't you, that Apple has decided to support the Microsoft standard? Why in the world they would is beyond me, but they did. Corel has been fairly wishy-washy. They seem to be in this for the marketing value.
