Two productions of this movie exist. Last years has this tag line: Bringing the Tony-Award Winning musical back to the big screen -The Producers tells the story of a down on his luck producer (Lane) and his accountant (Broderick) and their get rich quick plan. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395251/ The original produced in 1968 starred Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder. It was famous for the song "Springtime with Hitler". http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063462/ If you don't know the story line - read up. One of the all time funniest movies. But not popular with survivors. |

Actually, I understand that the play recently opened in Israel to rave reviews... very popular. |
