Individuals do stuff like CMYK support, but it somehow never seems to hit mainstream.

I'd like to see GIMP a bit more customisable, so you could quickly define a simple tool for (to pick an example) pre-processing auction images (rotate, scale, tweak-contrast) in a handful of simple keystrokes or clicks. If it does happen, I predict that it'll start life as a 3rd-party patch and work its way in from there.

My sister-in-law got to install The GIMP on a Windows box recently because the stuff she was doing in PhotoShop on it was all uphill and hard work. The GIMP made it easier.

Sad that it would be relatively trivial to make it much easier again, but no expert has.

> the latest Gimp supports CMYK. I'm running 2.3.10, and a lot has changed for the better.
