sshfs question for the experts

I finally got around to playing with sshfs a little (quite nifty).
I've noticed however that it grossly mis-states the disk usage for the mounted machine (i.e. the freebsd install says the mounted location has 0 used and 954GB free - it's an 80GB hdd and has about 1.7GB free right now).
Gentoo does the same thing, but it's a different total space reading.
Is there a way to fix this, or is it just the cost of using sshfs? |
