If I had tried it at home, it takes every single Digg.com page literally minutes to load on my machine at home, I don't get it. Why does Digg do that? Every page eats up 1.5gigs of RAM on my machine, why? |

digg is a horrible site- it bogs down every PC I've ever used to visit the site. It kicks CPU in the red zone, makes my cursor all herky-jerky, and sucks up all my RAM. Even so, Digg we must! Bonus points to anyone who can identify the source of the quotation! Or even knows it is a quote! |

If you search under linux, it should show up on the first page. For whatever reason, url's don't seem to be working. I'll give it a try and see if I have any better luck: http://www.digg.com/motorsport/Linux_Marketing_Campaign_Seek... Added: Nope, sure enough, the link above doesn't work, even though it was cut and pasted from the digg page. They're obviously doing something to block direct links. The story is currently the 12th story returned when search for linux. |

I found it by searching for dcparris. Weird. The link on the search page is that link. http://digg.com/motorsport/Linux_Marketing_Campaign_Seeks_35... So why does it not work externally? When I click on it at digg and copy and paste it it loads fine. |

Ok, I've totally had it with this link error. Therefore, I've been so rude to add a 'Digg it' link to the lead of the article, just like I did to James' slackware article; please look at our 'Features' link for a view: http://lxer.com/module/newswire/lf/ If the Digg-links in the leaders are a problem (for anyone, for whatever reason), please let the LXer team know (this thread is fine), and if we agree because there's a valid reason, we'll remove it.
