Impressed w/wireless

Just purchased this wireless card [HYPERLINK@www.newegg.com] for a Kubuntu Gutsy desktop that I had to move to the other side of the room. Made the mistake of moving the machine before installing the card. Great! Now I'll probably have to run a cable across the room until I can download, compile and install the drivers.




Nope.

Booted up and KNetworkManager pointed to my wireless access point and politely connected with a single click. Nice!

Note: I don't use WPA, or even WEP on this network, so I can't speak to that.

Did it have to use the restricted drivers manager, or does it just work? If the latter, I might get one myself.

You should post a review to NewEgg's site noting that it works with Kubuntu. I'm always looking for that type of information when I shop there.
