I tried to get and install gnash on a G3-based Macintosh with Debian Linux for PPC. Had to get that St. Patrick's Day YouTube fix on Monday, and YouTube was a no-tube!

All these messages about not being fully supported on the PPC platform and too many hoops to go through to properly compile the gnash beta for PPC Etch. Eventually got to YouTube by Internet Exploiter on an M$ Winshaft XP system.... not something ay wished to do.

How well does Wine work on the PPC? The x86-32 version works well enough to run IE6 and flash.

Better yet, the X86-32 version works well enough to run Firefox and Flash, and shockwave.
