You better curse RMS too, and Kernighan and Ritchie, and Ada Byron, and Archimedes, and Galileo, and Newton, and Fran Drescher. Because the big secret of particle accelerators is they don't spend millions of dollars on space-age gear- they just build these giant soundproof tunnels and play Fran Drescher's voice very loudly. Those poor little atoms don't have a chance- poof! splitsville. They tested Roseanne's voice too, but that gave them nervous breakdowns.
