Ballmer must be seething with rage. Everyone is talking about Google Wave and nobody is paying any attention to Microsoft's Bing. Perfect timing of Google :-)

Well, it's supposed to be a better name for Kumo. Does nobody here follow Microsoft news? Am I really the only one? Ouch, that makes me scared. I'm outta here.

I don't like MS' marketing, it's always creepy. Like the pervy blue butterfly guys invading people's homes. Like Bill and Jerry invading people's homes. Etc.

Ah, I'm starting to take this thread seriously after I watched the 1,5h video presentation of Wave. Compared to Wave, Bing is peanuts I suppose. Even announcing only Rosy (which received the 3 minute applause) would have been a larger event than Bing.

So Microsoft made Kumo / now Bing, and in the same amount of time Google made Wave. If I were MS shareholder, I'd worry and sell. Or kick out the darn incompetent management; because I suppose there are some good devs at Microsoft. Nah, forgot, the management _are_ the shareholders. That's a receipt for corporate failure.

Back to Wave: Could we implement it in LXer? Would be nice, given its promise of more effective flamewars.

You got it so Zune. I'm impressed.

Zune had to be renamed in Israel. Apparently it's a really strong profanity in Hebrew.

Yes, in Hebrew it translates as "F*ck". Also, in French-Canadian is a euphemism for penis.

Somehow both are very fitting for the Zune :-)

Bing and Zune means what can also be called "Bang". Why is that fitting?
