Plasma is a perfect toolset to develop interfaces like this with, and I have used KDE4 on an Asus Eee, it's not as heavy/slow as one might expect it to be... but in the screenshots, they show a resolution of 1280 pixels wide. I hope this is not how they are developing this thing, else people might be a tad disapointed when they learn it doesn't fit on anybody's netbook screens. |

I've got KNR installed on my HP Mini 110. It actually looks very good at 1024x576. It has rough edges.... OK, a lot of rough edges, but the look and feel on a typical netbook display is pretty nice. BTW, the installer makes clear that the minimum height is 576 pixels. It will not look good or work well on a 7" screen at 800x480. The original Ubuntu Netbook Remix does work well at that resolution. |
