Plasma is a perfect toolset to develop interfaces like this with, and I have used KDE4 on an Asus Eee, it's not as heavy/slow as one might expect it to be... but in the screenshots, they show a resolution of 1280 pixels wide. I hope this is not how they are developing this thing, else people might be a tad disapointed when they learn it doesn't fit on anybody's netbook screens.

I've got KNR installed on my HP Mini 110. It actually looks very good at 1024x576. It has rough edges.... OK, a lot of rough edges, but the look and feel on a typical netbook display is pretty nice.

BTW, the installer makes clear that the minimum height is 576 pixels. It will not look good or work well on a 7" screen at 800x480. The original Ubuntu Netbook Remix does work well at that resolution.
