Can never have enough projects to try and fill the gap flash is. Being on powerpc and the fact that adobe neglects linux-ppc this will be interesting to see how well it works. As it is I can download most videos and watch them or even convert to watch them that's the not the problem, the problem is the countless sites that just use flash as they think it's so cool and I guess it can be but not if everybody can't view it. I tried Ubuntu 9.10 to my friend's iBook which run at 1ghz and it ran so much faster than Leopard. But at last had to switch back to Leopard because he need flash to watch online videos. Hopefully this project will catch on. I hate flash! |
