I have used this for about 7 years now and it just keeps getting better all the time. I have installed rc1 and now rc2 and they look very stable to me. One minor beef: Sometimes templates do not work because certain latex style files and other files are not installed. Instead of telling you they aren't installed it would be friendlier to just have a script to grab them from ctan or wherever and then install. It is a pain having to hunt around upgrading your latex install. A few extra latex files isn't going to bust the bank so an automatic install would be greatly appreciated.
