Quoting: Extract tar.gz file then copy libflashplayer.so to this directory [end of line]

Does this mean you have to determine the proper directory or is it actually missing? Moreover, I could not see any means to post a comment on the site. However, I by routine run AdBlockPlus, FlashBlock and NoScript and allow blocked sites selectively. Thus, I could be blocking a needed element or script.

Anyone else see this site in the same way?

@Txt,

I use Chrome NOT Chromium on Kubuntu, I am not sure if this would help

It seems to suggest that the folder "/usr/lib/chromium-browser/plugins" needs to be created if it doesn't exist.

In Firefox (I think also in Mozilla) the plugin directory is no longer created by default, so you must create it manually. Look for /usr/lib{,64}/{mozilla,firefox}/plugins. If you must create it manually, make sure it has the correct ownership and permissions.
