Linux Mint is great, and I hope it gains in popularity with Ubuntu defectors. But the author is plain wrong. Ubuntu 10.04 doesn't EOL until April 2013. If this person isn't receiving updates, there are other problems going on. |

I think HoTMetaL is right: 10.04 is a LTS, meaning there's a way to go before it becomes obsolete. |

I just checked on this 10.04 system, and there were two new updates since two days ago (tzdata and tzdata-java). So yes, I'd say there are other problems. |

I'm using 10.04 (Linux Mint 9) and I get updates regularly. |
