Why don't these stats ever make sense?

This is just yet more evidence, that web-browser client stats (at least those gathered by commercial enterprises) are still as worthless as they've ever been.

Linux desktop market share hasn't been as low as he claims in about a decade. Yet more and more of this nonsense gets published. Sad.
