I thought this was yet another proprietary office software suite, but it turns out it's some kind of weather service with a very odd name. |

Met = Meteorology. The UK Meteorology Office predates Microsoft Office by more than a century. This story is largely a non-issue. The Adobe widgets for Linux were withdrawn last year, and the remaining ones work as well as can be expected; i.e. very badly. Most Linux weather widgets get their UK feeds via the BBC and have been unaffected. |
