Who are the complainers and whiners who say "Free" software does not advertise their wares?

Indeed, plans are afoot for a broad effort focused on a theme with a supporting song: Chain Gang written and performed by the new group called The Shackles. Now that's should even get positive mention by the FTC for its adherence to Truth in Advertising.

I think the title of the story is a wee bit too long and could have been more descriptive if shortening it to:

GNOME 3.8 Is Droppings....

But hey, that's just one guy's opinion.

So...a dog walks into a bar and says:

"I'm looking for the man what shot my paw".

And the bartender looks up from the netbook on the bar and says:

"Yeah, yeah. A shot of shot of pinch. Give me just a minute. Say -- you wouldn't know how to get this stupid f****in No-ma'am desktop working, would you?"
