I think I sense some sarcasm. :D

I have to admit, that this article is scraping the bottom of the barrel. I think we all know how to use wget and tar to install a program. Oh well, maybe there is a newcomer to linux who might read it.

This is for those people who can't wait the day or two* (give or take) it will take to be put into the repository?

I think it would make more sense if it were targeting users of distributions that won't get Firefox 27 at all (or at least unless it is released as an ESR version).

*I originally said 24 hours, but that implies more dependability of the time period than actually exists. However, it's always within a few days.
