2160p video in a Linux-friendly pocket device

I missed that little fact on my first read through the specs on this little gem. Ever since I upgraded to a 2160p (4k) desktop monitor, I've been watching the prices on 4k video cameras.

It looks like this smartphone is not only as open as you can get with CyanogenMod pre-loaded (sshd, vendor supported root, unlocked bootloader, +++) but is also the least expensive 4k video camera on the market today. (Someone correct me please if I'm wrong.)

I think I read that these babies become available tomorrow in 16 countries, including mine! :-)

Ok, you can call me a gadget junkie, but I'm going to be standing in line on Friday to get mine.
