Why make up reasons?

Just ask RMS himself.

He's not dead you know.

I'm sure he'd sit down for a chat if you don't condescend to him, or suggest that he created the GPL so that he could save some greenbacks.

Of course, that might mean that you can't record audio or video of him - as those things require 'non-free' software or computing resources.

RMS is correct ---- you know that, right?

Of course the website doesn't conform to whatever passes for the current conformist's idea of what conformity should look like on the Internet... but words still mean something, and I - for one - like to read them.
