So is Linux now in the "Embrace" phase of the famous Microsoft EEE tactic?

Sure, Microsoft "loves" Linux, just like it loved IBM, Java (also known as Microsoft C#), Netscape, ...

I rest my case.

P.S. - I had to roll on the floor in laughter when I saw that Microsoft is saying that its Linux distribution would be for "internal use only". Ahh, how the excitement starts to build! Now we are all supposed to stand in awe while Microsoft pretends to feed out tidbits of goodies piece by piece. We've been through this time and time again, watching the Windows fanboys wait year after year for the next promise that somehow always seems to be just out of reach, hiding behind yet another promise. Just wait one more year, it will be really great -- NOT.
