Where were their demands in 2012? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2012/feb/17/obama-digital-...

Even politifact has to admit there are too many similarities for comfort: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2018/mar/...

Mozilla is controlled by leftist pro-Democrats, just like 90% of all the tech companies. But they can play good cop, bad cop too - whatever suits the current climate and makes them look above it all. Facebook got caught, and that's what was really bad - more so than what they did for Obama - to the leftists running Mozilla.

Faux leftists perhaps, but frankly there are only variations of right wingers in US politics since the red purge (scare).

If there were honest to deity leftists in the valley, they would welcome unions for example.

Leftists tend to be very hypocritical with what they encourage others to do versus what they themselves do.

Leftists running companies do not want unions in their own companies, like celebrities advocating gun control will not give up their own armed security.

How does this topic relate to Linux and/or Free Open Source Software?

Ask whoever posted the article to the queue. Or probably more accurately, didn't remove it from the queue when the automated scans picked it up. Stories about political actions will generate political commentary.

I thought political commentary was generally forbidden on this site.

Every action Mozilla has taken since (and including) the firing of Eich has been politically motivated. If you don't want political commentary you'll have to completely stop carrying stories about Mozilla. Though looking at the comment queue for the past several months, it doesn't look like it would matter.

Pretty much the same thing could be said of Google.

Yeah, what caitlynm and jdixon said.

Sigh.

If either of you want a beer when you're in town (including root beer, or even ginger ale), let me know.
