Once again, "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing." Just like the "experts" who designed DVD-CSS, but this time, the insecurity can be life-threatening.

(Not exactly Linux or FOSS, so it's a comment thread, not a newswire story.)

How about having a pacemaker with internet connectivity? Yes, my step-father got one. Nothing to worry about, they say.

Actually, if it's using SSL/TLS with an RSA 7680-bit key (entirely possible!), I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

My mother in law had the same thing. I believe they could even adjust it remotely. (Not sure though) She just passed away, (not from that) so I can't ask her about it.
