Seems from https://www.ventoy.net/cn/index.html# that Ventoy may be based in the PRC. Also, the main Ventoy forum moderator listed at https://forums.ventoy.net/ is the revealing name "longpanda". Anybody find any backdoor code YET in this 100% open source tool possibly originating from behind China's Great Firewall?? fb |

It's opensource, in the common sense I presume, so the code can be verified. But 'Phoning home to Redmond' doesn't bother any government or any organization anywhere in the world, while the code here cannot be verified. Where's the logic ? |
