The 'best' counter to The Cathedral and the Bazaar uses printer drivers as an example of 'unloved' code nobody would bother with? Exscuse me, but what was the code that Richard Stallman couldn't get from the vendor that so angered him that he started the FSF? Yup. Printer drivers. |
