I have been able to establish ratios for Speed, and desktop efficiency by comparing several categories: Menu Intelligence, Font rendering, Graphical Quality,Timing Buffer Cache Reads, Install Times, and Boot time. Have a look, located http://www.yoper.com please give some feedback as you see fit. thank you

Yeah very nice I mean I am dieing to install Yoper but am kinda scared it may break the sort of kinda-stable working enviroment I have with Mandrake 10

But lil things like a slow Epiphany and no proper Gnome yet (trying to install Gnome 2.6 seriously messed up my system) - makes me want to change.

The system I have in place (NVidia and Win4Lin patched) is pretty OK - menus are appauling though.

I think I will have a go next week or order some CD - intuitively something tells me Yoper is just right for me.
