While the current economy presents challenges, the upcoming So Cal Linux Expo looks to be be very successful.

SCALE 7x is rapidly approaching. And while the economy presents challenges, the upcoming Expo looks to be be very successful. The Expo floor is filling nicely - there are only a few dotORG booths left, and some commercial exhibitor booths.

The speaker slots filled up promptly, and the accepted speakers are now posted at http://www.socallinuxexpo.org. The session tracks will be published in the near future.

There are still some seats in the SCALE University training classes available. The class topics are Introduction to Virtualized Storage Management, Internal documentation for SysAdmins, Disaster Recovery: Will you survive?, and Saving the World with Fedora Directory Server. More information on the class content is available on the SCALE U web page.

There are still some hotel rooms available at the reduced rate, too. Information on them can be found on the SCALE web site.

Important note: the end of Early Bird registration is approaching. It ends at 2359 PST, Jan 19th. That's one week from today!

Register for SCALE 7x now before the price goes up!
