GNOME 3.4 Release Candidate Is Available for Download

The GNOME Project announced a few minutes ago, March 23rd, the immediate availability for download and testing of the Release Candidate version of the upcoming GNOME 3.4 desktop environment, which brings more fixes to the existing bugs.

GNOME 3.4 RC (Release Candidate) is here to update the usual core components, such as GNOME Contacts, GNOME Control Center, GNOME Desktop, GNOME Keyring, GNOME Power Manager, GNOME Screenshot, GNOME Screensaver, GNOME Shell, GNOME PackageKit, GNOME Session, and much more.

Among other changes worth mentioning, NetworkManager brings some IPv6 improvements and adds for multiple domain names sent from VPN plugins, Empathy comes with 18 fixes, Eye of GNOME has several fixes, Epiphany adds unit tests for EphyWebView and automatically adds "file://" when existing absolute paths are typed in the URL address bar.

Moreover, Evince has two fixes and lots of updated translations, Gcalctool also has two fixes, GDM brings ConsoleKit fixes, an updated version of Sundown Dunes has been added to GNOME Backgrounds, GNOME Bluetooth comes with support for pairing the iCade, added OUI for Apple Magic Trackpad and Sony BD Remote Control.
