Apache Foundation announces first release of OpenMeetings - Web-Conferencing

The Apache Foundation announces the release of OpenMeetings - a Java based software to enable Audio/Video conferencing, whiteboard and other social collaboration tools. Together with the release of the package a new integration for the Moodle Platform was released and some others are announced.

According to their blog post at https://blogs.apache.org/openmeetings/entry/apache_openmeeti... the new release covers a wide range of new features, from core components to layout and styling features. The application also provides now a command line installer, this can be very handy for system administrators to update and install OpenMeetings without clicking through a web UI.
