An update on events and happenings at SCALE 11x coming next weekend in Los Angeles.

INTERVIEWS ON-LINE: Want to see who the speakers are and what they're speaking on? The SCALE Team has been doing Q-and-A interviews of SCALE 11X speakers, which are appearing on the main page for SCALE 11X. Several speaker interviews per day have been added and the process will continue until the day of the show. To see who's in the limelight today, and who has been featured already, visit http://www.socallinuxexpo.org

OPENNMS PRESENCE CANCELLED: Unfortunately, OpenNMS's talks and the OpenNMS booth won't be happening at SCALE 11X. The folks at OpenNMS assure the SCALE Team that their commitment to other SCALE-related shows, like Texas Linux Fest and others, will continue during the course of the year, but a late and unavoidable conflict this year has forced their withdrawal. Look for them at other events this year like Southeast Linux Fest, TXLF, and next year at SCALE 12X.

WHAT'S UPCOMING?: Game Night announcements as well as the lineup for the UpSCALE Talks on Friday will be coming shortly in what can best be described as a mild tsunami of announcements between now and next Friday starts today. Watch this space.

Registration is open for SCALE 11X by visiting https://reg.socallinuxexpo.org/reg6/

Hotel discounts for the Hilton Los Angeles Airport hotel for the expo, $112 per night, are still available. Visit http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale11x/venue

In its 11th year, SCALE 11X is the first-of-the-year Linux/Open Source Software expo in North America. For more information on the show, visit http://www.socallinuxexpo.org
