With more than 100 exhibitors and about 95 speakers at SCALE 11X this weekend, there's a lot to do and see. But when the sun goes down, the sessions end and the expo hall closes, the fun really begins for the attendees.

After a long day of sessions, presentations and classes, attendees at SCALE 11X really know how to let their hair down. With more than 100 exhibitors and 95 speakers during the day, SCALE 11X puts aside digital business when the sun goes down.

On Friday, John Willis will be playing the role of Richard Dawson for DevOps Family Feud. Help us collect answers for the game show by filling out a survey for DevOps Day LA by visiting http://bit.ly/ZlpUk2

The game show will be streamed, but it's something you may not want to miss.

Then on Friday evening, the UpSCALE talks take place. Patterned after the Ignite talks given at O'Reilly events, participants in the UpSCALE talks are given five minutes to speak on a subject while accompanied by 20 automatically-advanced slides. This makes for a fast-paced talk where anything can happen.

The UpSCALE talks will take place on Friday the 22nd at 8pm in the La Jolla room. Participants can be found by visiting http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale11x/upscale Not to be outdone by Friday night's festivities, Saturday night is home to two entertaining post-expo events.

First, SCALE 11X brings back the annual Weakest Geek competition, which pits members of the Free/Open Source Software community face off against each other, determining who has the greatest knowledge of geek culture.

Contestant line up for Weakest Geek: Dawn Foster, Kyle Rankin, Joe Brockmeier, Jorge Castro, Matthew Garrett and Ruth Suehle

Located in the ballroom in the basement of the Hilton Los Angeles Airport hotel, Games Night features kids crafts and games, laser tag, console video games, pool and air hockey, Nerf weaponry, massage stations to help you relax, and the weekend's SCALE Poker Contest finals – bring your poker cards to find out what the mystery questions were and, if your hand is hot, then you could win prizes.

Game Night hours are 8-9 p.m. for family hour that features special activities for the kids, and 9-12 midnight for adults.

Game Night is sponsored by CFEngine, Google, MediaTemple, Perforce and Ticketmaster.
