In an on-line meeting of Fedora developers today, the unanimous decision was reached to approve "Release Candidate RC3" as the final Fedora 19 which has been dubbed "Schrödinger's Cat".

At this point, no "blocker bugs" remain. The Fedora mirrors will update in the next few days and public access will open on Tuesday July 2, according to the current plan.

The Fedora 19 release brings out several new and updated features: Gnome 3.8, Mate (based on Gnome 2) as an alternate desktop, Node.js a javascript runtime and associated ecosystem, MariaDB as an enhanced replacement for MySQL, Ruby 2.0, a new feature release of Systemtap, and better support for 3D printers, just to name a few.
