Have you been thinking about writing a truly cross-platform application? One that works on desktops as well as mobile devices? Read on...

Over the past year we've developed a cross-platform development tool we call "8th". The goal of 8th is to let the developer write application code once using the 8th language, and at a "click of a button" produce binaries suitable for the major platforms. At present, that means Windows, OS X and Linux for the desktop, and Android and iOS for mobile.

The language is simple enough that it should take no more than a week for a new adopter to become reasonably proficient. 8th does not require you to use any particular platform or development tools to write you code. Like vim or Emacs? Use them!
