The Document Foundation released LibreOffice 5.0, which offers better compatibility with documents from Microsoft Office and Apple iWork, among other improvements.

LibreOffice is a cross-platform office suite with applications for word processing, creating spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and more. It is available for various desktop operating systems and the mobile operating systems Android and Ubuntu Touch.
