Cinnamon 3.0 Desktop Environment to Let Users Rename Battery-Powered Devices

Now that we've told you about some of the features that are coming to the Linux Mint 18 operating system in the next few months, the time has come to get a glimpse of the new features of Cinnamon 3.0.

While you already know everything about the new features implemented in the MATE 1.14 desktop environment announced last week, it's time for Cinnamon users to learn about the upcoming features that are about to land in Cinnamon 3.0, whose release date we don't know yet.

And it looks like Linux Mint project leader Clement Lefebvre started his usual brief blog announcements to tell us about the incoming Cinnamon 3.0 features, the first one being the ability to rename battery-powered devices in the Power settings of the Cinnamon control center, as requested by users a few months ago.
