Vivaldi 1.6 Is Out, World's First Web Browser to Display Notifications in Tabs

In an unexpected turn of events, it appears that Vivaldi just launched today the final release of the Vivaldi 1.6 web browser.

For Vivaldi 1.6, the team is proud to announce that it's the world's first web browser to display notifications directly in tabs. We've already talked about this earlier this month, so it should not come as a surprise to anyone, but we have to admit that it is a very nice and handy addition to the Chromium-based browser.

It's all about new tab features in Vivaldi 1.6, and the web browser also ships with support for naming tab stacks, along with the ability to rename existing tab stacks, which is as easy as right-clicking on the tab stack's name and select the "Rename Tab Stack" option. It's also possible to select multiple tabs by their domain.
